  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for cinnamon sugar)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened (for glaze)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for glaze consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk and melted butter; mix until combined. Incorporate the egg and knead until smooth.
  2. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  3. For the filling, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, strawberries, and jam until smooth.
  4. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread cheesecake filling evenly on top.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over filling and roll tightly into a log.
  6. Cut into 12 pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden.
  8. For glaze, combine softened cream cheese with powdered sugar; drizzle over warm rolls.
