  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ½ tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add sour cream, eggs, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and red food coloring. Mix well and pour over crust.
  4. For the vanilla layer, repeat mixing cream cheese with sugar, then add remaining ingredients and pour over the red velvet layer.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set; center should be slightly jiggly. Cool gradually in the oven for an hour.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least six hours or overnight.
