  • 2 cups melted peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped candies (like peanut butter cups)
  • 1 cup Reese's Pieces
  • 1 cup peanut butter for frosting
  • 10 tbsp softened unsalted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line and grease a 9"x13" baking pan.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and pour into the pan. Bake for about 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  3. Poke holes throughout the cooled cake using a wooden spoon. Pour melted peanut butter over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
  4. In a bowl, mix peanut butter and softened butter until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until fluffy. Adjust consistency with heavy cream if needed.
  5. Frost the cake evenly and top with chopped candies and Reese's Pieces.
