  • 4 cups baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash baby potatoes and cut them in half or quarters.
  3. Slice smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, coat the potatoes with olive oil and half of the seasoning mixture.
  6. Place seasoned potatoes on a lined baking sheet; add sausage slices on top.
  7. Roast for 35-40 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle cheese on top, and return to bake for another 5 minutes until melted.
