  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs + 1 egg white
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ Cups unbleached flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup Candy Corn
  • 1 Cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 Cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper, lightly spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Gradually add sugar, followed by eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Gently fold in candy corn.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  7. Allow to cool completely before frosting with a mixture of softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  8. Top with additional candy corn before cutting into squares.
